Responsible for the overall administration of the MCE Jessup Warehouse, including the storage of products received from Production Plants located in state prisons and the statewide delivery of products to customers.
Oversees warehouse operations, including delivery functions, and ensures efficient coordination and scheduling of finished goods transfers from MCE plants within the assigned region to the warehouse.
Combines, stages, and prepares finished goods for customer orders and ensures timely delivery of all MCE products.
Works daily in conjunction with the MCE Hagerstown Warehouse and MCE Projects.
Manages and supervises the work of the MCE Assistant Warehouse Manager, MCE Warehouse Driver/Supervisor, and an inmate warehouse and delivery team.
Leads initiatives based on business needs and strategy and demonstrates proven project management skills.
Travel within the region as needed is required for this position.
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Four (4) years of experience in warehousing, distribution, cross-dock, supply chain, or a related field, with at least two (2) years of experience supervising employees in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
Substitution:
Additional post-secondary education in Business Management, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field from an accredited college or university may be substituted at the rate of 30 semester credit hours for each year of required experience.
Experience applying basic accounting or bookkeeping principles.
Experience coordinating and scheduling multi-faceted project deliveries, including installation.
Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software.
