Position Duties

This position is responsible for performing general maintenance and repair work to support the operation of the Public Safety Education and Training Center and ensure all essential services continue without interruption.

Duties include maintenance and repair of:

  • HVAC systems
  • Electrical systems
  • Plumbing systems
  • Carpentry and construction work
  • Landscaping and grounds maintenance
  • Janitorial services
  • Other related tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet all minimum qualifications to be considered.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Experience:

  • Five years of experience in building maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry/construction, or related work

Preferred Qualifications

Preference may be given to applicants who have:

  1. Supervisory experience, including assigning, reviewing, and approving the work of other maintenance staff
  2. Experience performing maintenance in a state or public facility

Selection Process
